Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before use. Always wear safety glasses and hearing protection.

  1. Disconnect air supply before loading, clearing jams, or performing maintenance.
  2. Keep hands and body away from the firing area. Never point at yourself or others.
  3. Use only 18-gauge brad nails specified for this tool.
  4. Ensure workpiece is free of nails, screws, or other obstructions.
  5. Do not use in wet or explosive atmospheres.

WARNING! Failure to follow safety instructions may result in serious injury or tool damage.

Setup & Installation

Prepare your compressor and hose for operation.

  1. Connect air hose: Attach a 1/4" NPT air hose to the tool's inlet. Use thread sealant.
  2. Set air pressure: Adjust compressor regulator to 70-120 PSI as required for material.
  3. Add a few drops of pneumatic tool oil into the air inlet before first use and daily.
  4. Load brad nails: Push magazine release, insert nail strip, close securely.

CAUTION! Do not exceed 120 PSI. Use only clean, dry air to prevent internal damage.

Specifications

Controls and Adjustments

Familiarize yourself with tool controls before operation.

Depth Adjustment Wheel: Located above trigger. Turn clockwise to drive nails deeper; counterclockwise for shallower depth.

Quick-Release Nose: Slide forward to clear jammed nails without tools.

Magazine Release Lever: Push to open magazine for loading.

Exhaust Port: Rotatable collar to direct exhaust air away from user and workpiece.

Safety Contact Tip: Must be fully depressed against workpiece to fire (sequential trip mode).

Operating Instructions

Proper technique ensures quality results and safety.

  1. Connect air supply and set pressure (start at 90 PSI for testing).
  2. Load nails (see Section 7).
  3. Place safety tip firmly against workpiece.
  4. Pull trigger to fire nail. For rapid fire, hold trigger and bump safety tip.
  5. Adjust depth wheel if nails are too deep or not flush.
  6. Disconnect air when not in use, even for short breaks.

Tip: Practice on scrap material to find optimal pressure and depth settings.

Loading Brad Nails

Use only compatible 18-gauge brad nail strips.

  1. Disconnect air hose from tool.
  2. Push magazine release lever to open magazine door.
  3. Insert nail strip with nails pointing down, tips toward the nose.
  4. 4. Push strip fully into magazine until it clicks.
  5. Close magazine door until it latches securely.
  6. Reconnect air, point tool in safe direction, and test fire into scrap wood.

WARNING! Never force magazine closed. Ensure nails are aligned correctly to prevent jams.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures long tool life.

Daily: Add 3-5 drops of pneumatic tool oil into air inlet before connecting hose.

Weekly: Clean exterior with dry cloth. Inspect O-rings and seals for wear.

Monthly: Apply light grease to driver blade and moving parts (refer to diagram).

As Needed: Clear jams using quick-release mechanism. Never use metal tools inside magazine.

CAUTION! Always disconnect air supply before any maintenance. Use only recommended lubricants.

Storage Guidelines

Store tool properly to prevent damage.

  1. Disconnect air hose and drain moisture from hose and compressor.
  2. Add a few drops of oil into air inlet and fire tool once (into safe backstop) to coat internal parts.
  3. Store in a dry, clean place, preferably in original case.
  4. Keep away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
