Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before use. Always wear safety glasses and hearing protection.

  1. Disconnect air supply before loading, clearing jams, or performing maintenance.
  2. Never point the nail gun at yourself or others, even when disconnected.
  3. Keep hands and body away from the nail exit point.
  4. Use only nails specified in this manual. Do not use damaged or incorrect nails.
  5. Ensure workpiece is free of hidden obstructions (wires, pipes).

WARNING! Failure to follow safety instructions may result in serious injury or death. Keep out of reach of children.

Setup & Installation

Prepare for first use by connecting to a suitable air compressor.

  1. Check air compressor: Ensure it provides 70-120 PSI (4.8-8.3 BAR) as required.
  2. Attach air hose: Use 1/4" NPT fitting; apply thread sealant if needed.
  3. Adjust air pressure: Start at 70 PSI; increase as needed for proper nail depth.
  4. Load nails: Disconnect air, open magazine, insert nail strip, close securely.
  5. Test fire: On scrap material in sequential mode to verify operation.

CAUTION! Always disconnect air supply before loading nails or performing any maintenance.

Specifications

Controls and Operation

Main controls: Trigger, mode selector switch, depth adjustment wheel, exhaust port dial.

Trigger: Dual-action in sequential mode; single-action in bump mode.

Mode Selector: Switch between Sequential (safe) and Bump (production).

Depth Adjustment: Turn wheel clockwise for deeper penetration, counterclockwise for shallower.

Exhaust Port: Rotate to direct air away from face or work area.

Operation: Connect air, load nails, select mode, place safety tip against workpiece, and press trigger.

Loading Nails

Use only Banks-approved nail strips. Do not mix nail types or lengths.

  1. Disconnect air hose from tool.
  2. Press magazine release lever and open magazine fully.
  3. Insert nail strip with nails pointing down, heads toward rear.
  4. Close magazine until it clicks securely.
  5. Reconnect air hose and test fire on scrap material.

Tip: Keep nails clean and dry. Rusty or dirty nails can cause jams.

Firing Modes

Two modes for different applications.

  1. Sequential Mode: Requires safety tip contact AND trigger pull for each nail. Safer for precision work.
  2. Bump Mode: Hold trigger and bump safety tip against surface to fire rapidly. For high-speed production.
  3. Switch modes only when tool is disconnected from air.
  4. Always start new users in sequential mode until proficient.

WARNING! Bump mode increases risk of accidental firing. Use only when necessary and with extreme caution.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Lubricate with 2-3 drops of pneumatic tool oil through air inlet before connecting hose.
  2. Weekly: Clean exterior with dry cloth; inspect for damage.
  3. Monthly: Disassemble per manual to clean internal parts; replace worn O-rings.
  4. Storage: Disconnect air, empty magazine, lubricate, and store in dry place.

CAUTION! Never use solvents or excessive oil. Always disconnect air before maintenance.
